evolver-ogl software package provides Surface Evolver - with OpenGL display, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install evolver-ogl
evolver-ogl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the evolver-ogl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep evolver-ogl *
You will get with evolver-ogl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
